FAQs

-How long are sessions?

Each session is 90 minutes, if you would like longer we can book two or even three sessions back to back or over consecutive days or weeks

-What's the format of sessions?

Each session begins with a check in between you and I and with your own breath, voice, body and mind. A light warm up tailored for that sessions work follows, then we get down to the work we have pre planned. We always end with time to consolidate the work; a chance to take stock, reflect and plan.

-Do you cast performers who you work with one to one in your productions and R&D's?

Yes, we have done, but remember this is your space to dedicate yourself to your craft, not an audition.

-How physical are sessions?

It depends on the work you would like to cover, but be ready to be up on your feet where possible, ready to physically embody the work. Up on our feet and out loud rather than sat on our arse in our heads

-What should I wear?

Be wearing movement clothing, clothes that stretch or are baggy and have plenty of give and that you are comfortable in, it's not a fashion show. Hair should be tied back and jewellery removed, our spaces are no shoe zones.

-Can I bring my phone into the studio and read from that?

No. Our spaces are digital free, old fashioned pencil and printed text only.

-Are the studios level access?

No, the space is accessed by 15 steps. Let us know your access requirements when booking.
