I’d been anticipating meeting the cast for this play ever since I found out I was going to be a part of it. It didn’t stop the “first day of school” nerves that came on day one of rehearsals. It’s a strange feeling when you don’t know anyone yet but know your about to share an experience with these people. It was cool getting to find out everyone’s journey into acting, how they got to work with Lazarus and before long I was instantly at ease. The first read through was a great moment to hear the play out loud and to establish who is playing who. I’m curious and eager to see how the play develops as each day continues.
